It’s the weekend and I made plans to set aside some time to get some creative birthday-related gifts made. First signs of spring usually also mean busy March and April, full of  celebrations, a combination of both Mother’s Day and friends/family member’s birthdays.

Seeing as my mum is renovating and moving houses soon, it’s the idea time to make something for her new home as her birthday present. I had the idea to buy some lovely deep wooden frames and to create something personalised inside. Got a bit crafty with my trusty knife and cutting mat, the end result is three handmade paper-cut letters each representing herself and her two daughters.

I have yet to actually put them inside the frames, once I do I will get a new shot of all three of them together!
